PCCA’s Virtual Academy is a series of video courses available for rent to schools and community organizations. Rostered teaching artists with PCCA’s Arts in Education residency program, a partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, have created instructional videos – with accompanying lesson plans and resource materials – designed to explore the core elements of their artistic disciplines.
Sites may solely book the virtual course (hosted on Google Classroom) consisting of three to five video lessons and access to supplemental materials, or expand the opportunity into an artist residency with additional virtual or in-person instructional days. The Virtual Academy provides access to arts education programming for PCCA’S service area and gives our teaching artists an opportunity to engage students in new ways. Courses will be rented for an access period of 90 days. Please see the below list of the exciting options we have available!
If you would like to rent a course or learn more about PCCA’s Virtual Academy, please contact Rachel Barron, Arts in Education Coordinator, at aie@perrycountyarts.org or 717-740-6953.
